Oh! What a Lovely War - UK (1969), directed by Richard Attenborough, from a screenplay by Len Deighton. Based on Joan Littlewood's 1963 stage adaptation of Charles Chilton's radio play 'The Long, Long Trail'. Satirical anti-war musical presenting the madness and horror of World War One through a show on Brighton's West Pier. Stars many well known British actors.
